This novel is an alternate history in which Hitler’s Germany is unchanged but the rest of Europe is committed to strategic nonviolence. The novel focuses on the internal dynamics of Germany, particularly on the tensions within the army and between the army and Hitler’s loyalist fanatics.
I think (I fervently hope!!) the research and planning is nearing completion. My style of writing is to prepare a rather detailed set of notes on plot, major characters, character development, story arc, etc. I am currently in the middle of these notes and hope to start the writing soon.
I invite any of you with expertise or insight into these areas to join me for a dialog. While I think I have pretty much covered all the bases for this book, these are complex matters and it is easy to miss important points.
